Retinal Photography
This is an imaging and recording method to show in colour the condition of structures at the base of the eye such as the optic nerve, macula, peripheral retina and retinal veins, whereby the data can be recorded and used later in the monitoring of the patient. This imaging method is extremely useful for informing patients in the follow-up of frequently seen macular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma.
